What is semaglutide?

It is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as GLP-1 receptor agonists.

It is used to treat type 2 diabetes by regulating blood sugar levels.

  • There is also caution in those who have a history of stomach or intestinal disorder, pancreatitis, kidney disease, or eye problems caused by diabetes. These individuals are evaluated on a case by case basis.
